Our Pastor

DaRon Henson has preached the Gospel since 1985 and has served in a variety of ministerial roles including Children’s Pastor & Youth Pastor.  In addition, he served as Senior Pastor at Fairview Church of God for 8 years.  DaRon loves people and continually strives to present the Gospel in a common sense, down-to-earth way.  As a life-long learner, he enjoys reading and learning new things.  He believes the task of the Church is to love God, connect with people, and serve humanity.

DaRon is from Calhoun, GA, and graduated from Red Bud High School in 1988.  He continued his education at Lee University where he earned multiple degrees (B.S. in Christian Ministry and M.A. in Teaching). DaRon enjoys adventures with his wife, Becky.  He is incredibly proud of his two children and loves spending every chance he gets with his grandbabies.
